After several years of living in New York City, Dr. Lowe is pleased to return to her hometown of Toronto. She holds a BSc in Biology from the University of Western Ontario and a OD
from SUNY College of Optometry where she graduated as a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Optometric Honor Society. She completed her clinical training at the Lawton Indian Health Services Hospital in Oklahoma; during this time she managed ocular disease related to systemic conditions such as diabetes and hypertension. She also treated outpatient emergencies at the Zhejiang Eye Hospital in Hangzhou, China, and rotated through the specialty clinics at the University Optometric Center in Manhattan. Doctor Lowe graduated a year after Dr. Mandadakis, having also been supervised by him during their clinical rotations. Dr. Lowe has practiced for over a decade in large optometry and ophthalmology practices. In addition to providing primary optometric services, she has expertise
treating patients with glaucoma, prescribing medications to treat ocular disease, and performing pre- and post- operative evaluations for cataract surgery, refractive surgeries and other anterior segment procedures.
Dr. Lowe is also licensed to practice optometry in New York State and can offer consultations in Cantonese. She is married and has two young boys.
